Oh Baby Baby {Bump.}

I just can't believe Sweet Em is 10 months old. I definitely get baby bump envy every now and then when I see a Mama-to-Be.

I was SO excited the first time someone I didn't know commented on my belly. Because let's be honest.. until someone actually acknowledged my belly in public, I was truly convinced that most people thought I:
 1.) Had a drinking problem.. or
 2.) Had eaten an extremely large lunch at Chipotle {Ahh..I love Chipotle.}

It happened at Wal-Mart. I don't really like Wal-Mart, but they do have the cheapest  best treasure box toys for my firsties. True Story.

Anyway - The very nice cashier told me Congratulations and then told me that I would be having a boy {wrong} and that I was going to have a late summer baby {wrong again}.

But none of that mattered. She actually noticed the bump I'd been waiting for people to notice! Ahh.. Wal-Mart moved up a little in my book that day. Kind of. ;)

I'm a Target lady myself.. but really.. who isn't?

Pregos are allowed to take unlimited Selfies, right? I hope so.

10 Month Baby

10 Months Ago I was dreaming about what our life would be like with a baby..and it was hard to picture.

 Now - I just can't imagine it with out her. We are so blessed and this little baby is so much fun!

 Favorite Little Moments...

- Em saying HI in her little voice to everyone she meets and then waving to them once they are out of sight. {She's always just a little too late}
- Saying Kitty Cat and Giving High Fives.
- Eating little bites of grilled cheese and spaghetti
- Crawling at Super Hero Speed. :)

I just can't believe how smart she is getting! Hubby and I look at each other at least once a day and say, "She didn't really just do that... did she?"

Pretty Little Bows.

I had my very first sale last night.. followed by another one right after that!

I was so excited that Em and I danced to T Swift to celebrate.

Oh wait.. we always dance to T Swift. ;)

Speaking of Dancing.. Em's new favorite thing is to bop up and down to the music. Any music. Any beat. Even claps. Even splashing water.. Even my singing. It's amazing.

Of course we are eating it up and playing music/singing every chance we get. I even tried it in the car and could see the car seat shaking in the back. My little lady knows how to get low..get low get low get low.. and I am one proud Mama...as you can see.

Weekend Getaway

I just love the weekends.

What I love even more is weekends with my parents that live in OH-IO! We were in Asheville this past weekend and we went to the Biltmore. It's basically a castle nestled in the mountains of NC.. and it was amazing.

Em was a champ. Her new favorite word is "HI" and she says it to everyone she passes while waving her little arm at them. She even loved waving to all of the people in the black and white photographs. Yes.. my daughter is pretty outgoing. :)

Happy Heart Day.

I just love Valentine's Day. Pink+Chocolate+Cupcakes+A Day Dedicated to Being Sweet = Amazing.

Em got to come in today with me for a bit and spend time with my firsties. They just love her! And she loves watching everything they do (FYI: first graders are  crazy funny)

My class had a cupcake fundraiser last week, and we delivered them today. Over 1,100 cupcakes.. with $1,500 dollars raised going to Cystic Fibrosis Research. Woo!  The most amazing part? I only ate 2 cupcakes. True story.

Now I'm at home drinking hot cocoa (wait.. 2 cupcakes and 100 chocolates weren't enough?) and having some sweet family time. I still can't believe she's ours. I can't believe that we are lucky enough to get to watch her grow up .. and that some day she'll be a crazy First Grader making a monster valentine box and giving little valentines to her friends.

Ahhh. Just had a moment. Life is oh so sweet.

Rainy Days

Nothing beats the late afternoons with Emersyn after the school day ends. Hot Cocoa, Taylor Swift, A little dancing, some craftiness..  Ahh I really do look forward to it.

Valentine Baby

Sweet Em LOVED Rocking these Valentine's Shades - for a hot second. Then she ripped them off, swung them in her little hands - and flung them to the ground. That is why we {did not} even think about purchasing them.

But - Little does that Em Baby know...

The little rectangular object that I put in front of her face all the time that lights up and makes sounds..... is capturing the memories. And that's what it's really all about, right? :)


I just love this week. :) I'm planning on eating chocolate, wearing pink, drawing hearts on everything, making some fun monster mailboxes with my first graders, and eating a cupcake or five.

Now. If she ever figures out how to take off her headbands like she did with these pretty shades.... Her and I might have to have a very serious conversation. But until then... Happy Valentine's Week!

Sunday Funday

This weekend was wonderful - And I'm having fun adding some new items to Elm Baby! 

Em is getting so big - and as much as I want time to slow down - I just love how she changes every day. 

Valentine's Day is one of my favorite holidays... so I'm not trying to skip over it.. but I've been working on St. Patty's Day Headbands.. and couldn't resist! 

We're so lucky to have this little baby!

How Exciting!

Here is what I've been working on today... I just love glitter. But what I love even more is glitter that doesn't come off. That's why these headbands are absolutely perfect. 

We have a birthday party tomorrow and I just can't decide what color I want Em to wear. I might have an {I love to dress my daughter up} problem. As in.. we've been wearing Valentine's Day attire since January 1st. ;)

 Em doesn't seem to mind.
