Baby Shower Flashback

Well - I'm just going to keep taking walks down memory lane as my baby gets older and older. :) Thanks for understanding. Ha!

My baby shower was just perfect. I love when I can have a lot of the people I really care about in one place!
We definitely had a "co-ed" shower. The boys hung out in the basement, while we all squealed over  little clothes and accessories. We live in South Carolina, but had my shower in Ohio with the family. We rarely get to come home - so it only made sense to include the boys so my hubby could hang out with his friends too!

It was just perfect - and made me so excited for Sweet Em's arrival.

Pretty Little Elm is Facebook Official! I have to admit.. at first I was extremely nervous to post my shop on Facebook.. I know that sounds crazy, but until recently {like yesterday} I haven't  really mixed my blog/etsy life with..oh you know.. the rest of my life.

And since Facebook is full of people from the rest of my life - I was a little terrified nervous about it all. That I would fail terribly and they would be there to see it.. or that they would think that my headbands were awful. Ha. Is that normal? Probably not.

Anyway - I got a few quick pep talks from my mom and amazing hubby {For the record.. neither of them called me crazy} Sweet Em gave me some kisses - and that was that!  :)

I teach my Firsties every single day to be confident in themselves and be around people that lift them up, not push them down.. I should probably start taking my own advice. It was a little ridiculous that I was so nervous about letting people in on this not-so-secret... secret. :)


On a lighter note, we found a bunny in our house yesterday and we tried to catch her all day with no luck. Any suggestions? It looks like she's here to stay. :)

It's another rainy day here in Charleston. We were hoping for some warmer weather today so we could play outside and take some 11 month pics, but it has been nice to stay inside..warm and dry! :)

Yesterday this Mama had the chance to go run through color! ColorMeRad was so much fun. I highly recommend it. We were in our cars warming up and heading home before the rain actually started. I spent the rest of the day playing with the little baby and trying to get all of the color off of me.

I've told you all before that a little bit of sparkle makes me happy. So. Do. Tutus. :)

Month by Month Baby

Em turns 11 months tomorrow.. 11 MONTHS! I just can't handle it. She is growing so fast. She took her first steps yesterday {EEK!}

It's just so hard to believe that last year at this time she was still in my belly! It seems just like yesterday..but at the same time it seems like a lifetime ago.
Life has changed so much since then...and my life has never felt more complete. I have never felt more blessed and tired. :) All at the same time.

Anyway - Here is a little re-cap of our month-by-month photos. Since I'm a brand new mama blogger, I thought I'd catch you all up!

We have been having so much fun playing in the sunshine the past few days! Emersyn cracks me up because when we put her down in the {crunchy} South Carolina Grass - she doesn't like her legs to touch right away.

Mint&Gold Weekend

Ahh.. It was a wonderful weekend. And now that Monday is here - I feel like I need a weekend from my weekend! Does that even make sense? Has that ever happened to you?

Because it happens to me all. of. the. time.

Anyway - After all of the St. Patty's Day fun on Saturday - We decided to keep it calm on Sunday.

Our St. Patty's Day Shoes! Gold+Mint= My Favorite. 

We had some baby free time at the beach on Sunday. {Emersyn+Wind & Eating Sand=Nightmare} We RARELY get baby free time since both of our families live in Ohio. I didn't know what to do with myself! I kept checking the back seat - grabbing the paci wherever we went & making sure we had cheerios on hand in case of an emergency.. Haha. I am only exaggerating a little bit. :)

After we got back from the beach - Em and I got busy making some pretty little headbands. Then when she went down for her nap, I had the chance to add some to the Etsy shop! :)

Lucky Lady

I'm a Lucky Lady.. that's for sure. We've been having such an amazing weekend so far. I just LOVE this beautiful South Carolina weather - and I love St. Patty's Day. Who knew a green beer holiday could be so much fun with a little babe. :)

We started out the day with a Shamrock Shuffle 5K. I ran it... but it wasn't as easy as it used to be {pre-baby}. Boo. Then we went to a St. Patty's Day Block Party and ended the night cooking out at a friend's house.

                                        ...especially when she shaked her little booty to music! :)
